Flindly (“we”, “our”, “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: Email address, phone number, password, and Google Sign-In details.
Profile Data: Profile photo, personal description, and other optional details you provide.
Location: City, state, and country (we do not collect precise GPS coordinates).
Messages: Chat messages exchanged with other users (stored securely in Firebase).
Device Identifiers: Unique device or Firebase IDs used for authentication and notifications.

2. How We Use Your Information

To create and manage your account.
To enable messaging and social interactions.
To show your profile to other users in your city, state, or country.
To send you notifications related to your activity.
To ensure app functionality and improve user experience.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with trusted third-party service providers, such as:

Firebase (Google): For authentication, data storage, and notifications.
Google Sign-In: If you choose to log in with Google.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect safety and rights.

4. Security

We use industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), to protect your data. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Your Rights

You may request access to your personal data.
You may request correction of inaccurate information.
You may request deletion of your account and all related data.

6. Account Deletion

You can request deletion of your account and associated data directly from within the app under Settings → Account → Delete Account, or by contacting us at hello@flindly.com. Upon receiving your request, we will permanently delete your account and related data from our systems, except where retention is required by law.

7. Children’s Privacy

Flindly is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18. If we learn that a child has created an account, we will delete it promptly.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Major changes will be communicated in-app or by email.
